The Gaze (blink) control system serves as a straightforward communication aid designed for individuals who have lost motor function and speech due to conditions such as ALS or stroke. Its primary function is to facilitate basic interactions through eye movements and blinks.

The device is positioned facing the user’s face, with a red square indicating the recognition area for the face, and a green circle highlighting the eyes. This setup assists in precise calibration and real-time tracking of facial features.

A designated button on the interface features a blue frame that dynamically moves and blinks, providing visual feedback. To activate this button, the user is required to close both eyes slightly longer than a typical blink, which the system interprets as a selection command.
